​Obeying the monarch as Ulul Amri is obligatory in Islam. Therefore, citizens and residents in the country should be grateful for having a wise, loving and caring monarch. The obligation to obey the monarch were the main topic in the Friday Sermon. The Khatib also shared that in Islam, the monarch was appointed to carry out the trust given by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala to preserve Islam and control the benefits and interests of Muslims based on the Islamic demands and laws.

Our beloved monarch certainly has the criteria as a responsible Islamic leader, who carries out the mandates of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and always prioritises the welfare of the people to enjoy peace, harmony and a peaceful life. The responsibility and trust carried by a monarch is really heavy. A monarch who carries out his responsibilities well is guaranteed a noble and special position from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. They are also the people whom Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala loves very much.
