​Parent's love and sacrifice in caring and raising their children cannot ever be repaid. It is important for parents to provide education to their children towards producing a generation who is dedicated to the religion, parents, society, the King and nation. Parents' sacrifices for children became the highlight of the Friday Sermon.

The Imam or Prayer Leader said every child is obliged to obey their parents. Verily, be good to your parents and Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala will raise the status of the child. Muslims are urged to do good to their parents by giving attention and love them with all our heart and soul. To honour and respect them, speak softly using polite language, follow their advice, and avoid hurting their hearts as well as to obey their order as long as it does not contradict to the teachings of Islam.
