Drug Abuse Offence Cases

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

Three women were sentenced to imprisonment by the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court for the offence of taking drugs while at the Community Isolation Centre, National Service Programme Training Camp in Batu Apoi Temburong on the 12th of September.

 

Noorhadahyati binti Aji and Siti Kamilah binti Haji Mohammad, were each sentenced to six months imprisonment. Noorhadahyati was also found guilty for two charges of drug abuse in November 2019 and August 2020. The accused was fined $3,000 or 6 months imprisonment in default. The accused was given a month to settle the fine. Meanwhile, Fatin @ Masyitah binti Haji Amzah was found guilty on an offence of drug abuse in January 2020 and a previous drug offence. The accused was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
