Several offences were discovered in a joint operation recently conducted by the Temburong Police District, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) with several enforcement agencies targeting five separate locations across Temburong District.
According to the RBPF, as a result of the joint operation, four traffic-related offences were detected, while the Royal Customs and Excise Department (RCED) identified 12 offences involving the possession of contrabands. Additionally, the Department of Immigration and National Registration (DINR) detected three immigration overstaying offences, and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) uncovered two cases of drug abuse.
The operation was led by Assistant Temburong Police District Crime Officer Superintendent of Police Muhammad Adzimin bin Haji Ibrahim and involved 62 officers and personnel from the RBPF, the RCED, the DINR, the Internal Security Department, and the NCB.
Such joint operations reflect the commitment and close cooperation among enforcement agencies in strengthening law enforcement efforts and ensuring that the nation’s security, peace, and public order are maintained.
Members of the public are also urged to comply with the law and to provide information to the authorities if they become aware of unlawful activities.
