78 new students enrolled at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute this year for Year 7. From the figure, 33 are male students. The Ta'aruf or Orientation Week for male students began on the 6th January until this Saturday.
Various activities have been lined up throughout the Ta'aruf week such as Qiamullail, mass prayer, Al-Quran memorisation introduction workshop as well as sports activities conducted by the institution.
All students are required to stay at the hostel throughout their studies and are only allowed to go home once a week and during public holidays. This to allow the students to be more independent, disciplined and adapt themselves to the school's conducive environment and academics.
