Meeting Session with Legislative Council Members

The views and any collaboration proposals made by Legislative Council members in upholding the programmes and initiatives of the Employees Trust Fund, TAP that are currently being planned and will be carried out are very much welcomed in TAP's efforts to tackle issues related to the welfare and well-being of the its members. Speaking at the meeting session between the Employees Trust Fund and Legislative Council members, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports as the Chairman of the TAP Board of Directors hoped that the meeting will yield more effective results in enhancing the well-being of the country's citizens and residents.
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports hoped that the meeting will not merely be a question and answer forum but will act as a forum to bring out ideas and openly discuss and plan more effective programmes and activities in enhancing the well-being of all. He added that well-being that guarantees the life quality of the Brunei Darussalam citizens and residents is in line with Wawasan Brunei 2035.
Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof also explained about TAP's role in providing the country's national savings and social scheme to help TAP members to save and optimise their retirement funds through mandatory savings to the TAP and Supplemental Contributory Pension Schemes.
15 Legislative Council members attended the meeting, led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Hasrin bin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Sabtu. The members of the legislative Council also heard a briefing on the introduction, operational development, strategy and initiative of TAP presented by TAP's management.
