Businesses participating in the Brunei Salebration 2017 are welcomed to take part in the event which is being extended for another 3 weeks. The 65-day Brunei Salebration 2017 held until the 31st of January will be extended from the 1st until the 21st of February. According to the Department of Economic Planning and Development, JPKE, the initiative of extending the sale period aims to facilitate businesses wishing to hold a discounted sales events in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.

In this regard, JPKE has requested for participants wishing to hold a discounted sales events in conjunction with the Chinese New Year to notify the department for the preparation of Extension Notification Forms which need to be clearly displayed at a visible spot at the business premises. The Brunei Salebration 2017 is part of efforts to increase the country's economic activities through the increase of local consumption and boosting business activities.
