Brunei Youths Depart for Japan

A delegation of 21 youths yesterday left the Sultanate to participate in the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS 2016) hosted by the Japanese Government.
The delegation comprises four students each from Politeknik Brunei, Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Universiti Teknologi Brunei, as well as members from the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs.
Themed small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the programme will see the delegates in Japan from January 29 to February 7.
They will visit the Kumamoto Prefecture in southwestern Japan, which was recently hit by a series of large-scale earthquakes. There, they will learn from local authorities and businesses about damages and the recovery process.
