Expectations around whether or not men should pay for the first date is an age-old debate. Some people believe a 'gentleman' should always fork out if they have asked you out for dinner or drinks, while others think this is an outdated tradition which should be broken.

One woman from Australia with a more traditional outlook branded all men "disgusting" after her date only "bought one drink" during her two hour date.

The woman, whose first name is Shekinah, has said she is "done with men" and expected far more effort from her potential love match.

Shekinah was filmed complaining about her date by her pal Tasia Taderera, who posted the now-viral clip online.

Posting on her channel @ tasiataderera0, Tasia filmed her friend as she moaned: "I don't want to do this. I'm so done with men, they're disgusting."

She then went on to describe what had gone wrong during the date, saying: "Look at me, take me to dinner. Like don't try to get all this information out of me over one drink that you don't want to pay for and I am looking this great."

Shekinah added that she would expect to be wined and dined by a potential suitor, especially as he was the one who had asked for her number after spotting her out and about.

The model continued: "I just can't with them. They just don't get it. I can't. I don't have time for them anymore."

Tasia then said: "Boys, do better on dates."

The women decided that they should leave reviews for men after dates so they know what to improve on after each date.

The friend added: "Because at the end of the day, they'd be doing bare minimum for wanting to be praised."

Single women in the comment section completely agreed with her, with one saying: "She's so stunning and getting treated like this. Men should be embarrassed."

Another thought their review idea was great, saying: "Yes 100% agree we should leave reviews. Less time wasting."

A third simply said: "Girl, I feel ya."

However, some men in the comments believed she had too high expectations.

One person commented: "Advice: Dress for yourself, pay for your own drinks. A date is about getting to know each other."

Another asked: "Why does he have to pay for you? Why is your time so much more valuable than his?"

A third added: "Maybe put more effort in yourself. You wanna go to dinner then ask them. You're expecting so much but providing so little."
