The Institution of Engineering and Technology, IET Brunei Darussalam Local Network celebrated its 150th Anniversary last night with a Dinner Reception in the capital.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. Following the dinner reception, informative technical talks and updates on 5G and drones technology were delivered by representatives from Ericsson Brunei and InnovAero Sendirian Berhad respectively. IET Brunei Darussalam Local Network was established in November 1997, with the vision and aspiration to share and advance knowledge throughout the global Science, Engineering and Technology communities. It also aims to establish a culture of professionalism to contribute towards the country's development.
