His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency General Tran Dai Quang, following his new appointment as the new President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In the message, His Majesty extended his appreciation for the warm and close bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as close partners in ASEAN and TPP.

His Majesty also wished His Excellency much success in his new post and looked forward to working closely with His Excellency in strengthening the long-standing ties enjoyed by the people of the two countries.

In ending the message, His Majesty conveyed his best wishes to His Excellency and family.
