TUTONG

Brownie Pack members from Danau Primary School were recently engaged in a round of fun activities, with four Girl Guides from Tanjong Maya Secondary School.

The event, held on March 30-31, was witnessed by Cikgu Damit binti Salleh, the Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPPBD) in Tutong; and Cikgu Hajah Ostinah binti Haji Othman, the Commissioner of Ranger Guides from the PPPBD.

The scheduled programme included Ice-Breaking, Kim's Game, sandwich-making, singing, plastic flower handicrafts, mini-sports, aerobic exercises and a global Girl Guide activity called "10 Million Voices".

Besides bringing Brownie and Girl Guide events together, the recent activities were aimed at instilling resilience, independence, creativity, leadership and communication skills in the young participants.
