In embracing the spirit of sharing and to mark the holy month, of Ramadhan, BAG Networks in collaboration with DARe (Darussalam Enterprise) and Network Integrity Assurance Technologies (NiAT), organised a donation drive known as Projek Amal BAG Prihatin (Caring BAG Charity Project) for the less fortunate families in Brunei.

This year eight families from the Tutong District were identified with help from the Community Development Department (JAPEM) to receive the donations.

Items such as rice cookers, dry and canned / bottled food and other essential groceries were personally delivered to the recipients last Tuesday.

The donations were collected over the past two weeks from personnel of BAG Networks as well as DARe and NiAT, which were recently handed over to BAG Networks by their representatives Hajah Iryani binti Haji Abdul Samad and Mohd Amin Abdullah of DARe and NiAT respectively.

According to Project Leader Zaimah Tuah, BAG Networks Corporate Marketing and Communications Officer, "Our annual donation drive is intended to assist the less fortunate families in their preparation for Aidlilfitri. This year, we are very grateful to DARe and NiAT personnel for their participation to help the deserving families in the Tutong District. We hope to attract more participation from technology and business support organisations in this annual donation drive, to benefit more unfortunate families in Brunei in the next Ramadhan."

BAG Networks conducted its first Ramadhan donation drive in 2015 for several families in Kampong Anggerek Desa in the Brunei-Muara District.
