In the Tutong district, 2,393 recipients of selected groups received His Majesty's personal gifts. Present as personal representatives of His Majesty were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah.

Their Royal Highnesses were greeted upon arrival by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture Youth and Sports and Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah, Minister of Development.

The recital of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

The bestowal of His Majesty’s personal gifts has their significance to recipients of selected groups in the district.

His Majesty has always reminded the country's citizens and residents to always develop a caring attitude towards those who are in need.
