Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School (SMSAB) yesterday hosted a Tedarus and Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at the school's premises in Lambak Kanan.

The event began with a mass recitation of the Khatam Al-Quran by Year 11 students at SMSAB, which was followed by recitations of the Takhtim and Dikir.

There was also a special lecture titled 'Meraih Barkah Ramadhan' (Reaping the blessings of Ramadhan) by Dayang Hajah Florinda binti Haji Majenis of the Meraih Berkah group.

Later, there was a presentation of donations by Hajah Florinda to 43 orphaned students at SMSAB, and hampers to four students under the SMSAB Student Welfare Fund.
