Sayyidina Husain Secondary School in Mukim Sengkurong recently organised a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony, at the school's multipurpose hall.

Present at the ceremony was the Principal, Dayang Zarina binti Haji Kadir, together with the school's deputy principals, teachers and students.

Several teachers and students took part in the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony. Later, the Takhtim Al-Quran and prayers were read by the students.

The religious event is one of the school's annual activities in order to enhance self-esteem, character building and excellence among the students in particular through the teachings of the Al-Quran.
