The Indian Chamber of Commerce yesterday held a Tahlil at the Royal Mausoleum for the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman.

Led by its president, Nazeer Ahmad Zakaria, 50 association members participated in the Tahlil recitation led by Mohaimin Duraman, a Tahlil reader at the Royal Mausoleum.

The ceremony concluded with the pouring of scented water onto the tomb led by Nazeer.

The religious activity is an annual one conducted by the association in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan.
