Signing Of Progresif PAY Agreement

Progresif Celullar Sdn Bhd in partnership with Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD is paving the way for a cashless economy in the country with the signing of an agreement with Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD. With the signing of the Progresif PAY, this will make UBD as the country's first university to utilise cashless payment.

 

Signing on behalf of Progressif was Paul Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Progresif, while UBD was represented by Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Yacub, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Corporate and Administration. In attendance were Dato Seri Paduka Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy who is also the Chairman of Progresif, and Awang Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adnan, Board Member of Progresif.

 

Progresif will continue to create financial technology solutions and bring the country closer to become a cashless society and digital economy. With Progresif PAY, UBD students can keep track of their spending, manage their finances and make cashless payment within the university.
