A local man was sent to prison for two months by the Intermediate Court after he pleaded guilty to wrongful restraint of 35-year-old Rajesh Seetharaman, a pick-up truck driver carrying gas cylinders for sale.

The case is related to a road robbery case in which two other local men are involved.

The incident took place in the vicinity of Jalan 77, Kampong Perpindahan Lambak Kanan at about 9.30am on July 8, 2015, Judge Haji Abdullah Soefri bin Pehin Dato Haji Abidin heard.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Pengiran Suzana binti Pengiran Haji Abas conducted the prosecution of the case.
