HRH Princess Hjh Masna in Beijing for 25th Anniversary of Brunei-China Diplomatic Relations

BEIJING, PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade arrived in Beijing, People's Republic of China on May 29, 2016 at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China as part of the celebrations to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People's Republic of China.
On arrival at Beijing International Airport, she was welcomed by Min Yongnian, former People's Republic of China Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam and spouse, and Datin Paduka Magdalene Teo Chee Siong, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the People's Republic of China.
The second day of her visit to the People's Republic of China started with a visit to Tianjin and a tour of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco—City where she was briefed on the development of the Eco-City, a new planned city which focuses on service industries and incorporates environment-friendly policies in planning the city.
This was followed by a meeting and lunch with Zhao Haishan, Vice Mayor of Tianjin, at the Tianjin State Guest House.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between the two countries and then visited the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall which exhibits the developments of Tianjin municipality.
In the evening, a dinner was hosted by Gu Xiulian, the President of the China-Asean Association where they discussed people-to-people cooperation.
Throughout the visit, Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.
