The Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE) had recently hosted a seminar titled 'Thesis Writing Workshop: Technical, Quick & Effective' for PhD students at the Senate Room at the Chancellor Hall of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).

The workshop was presented by Senior Lecturer Dr. Othman Talib from Universiti Putra Malaysia and aimed to improve research skills among students by exposing them to the designs of current research with feedback from an expert panel.

The increase in the number of PhD students in the field of education at the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education each year has shown that the interests and aptitudes in the field are encouraging. It is hoped that this will ensure the standards and quality of the graduates will be on par with international graduates.
