HM Consented to Appoint New Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force

By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has announced that His Majesty has consented to the appointment of Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Mohd Shah Al-Islam, the Deputy Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force, as the new Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force, replacing Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Bahrin bin Mohd Noor, who has ended his contract service.
The appointment is effective from Sunday, 22 Syaaban, 1437H, corresponding to May 29, 2016.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Saturday, May 28 by the Prime Minister's Office.
