In conjunction with the upcoming month of Ramadhan, there have been various welfare activities held such as Muslim cemetery cleaning campaigns and refurbishment of residences for those in need.

Committee members of `Saudara Ku Kampung Setia' took the opportunity to implement a project called Project BEST', to conduct pious activities. Project BEST is a voluntary work in mutual cooperation to clean Muslim cemeteries and also to install billboards at Muslim cemeteries such as the recently installed one at Batu Miris in Limbang.

Project BEST began with signboard installation by members of the group, followed by the unveiling of the signboard by Mukim Sungai Kebun Chief, Pateh Dato Paduka Haji Masri bin Ismail.

According to the Chairman of Project BEST, Haji Jalil bin Haji Mail, the signboard was a donation by the group members as well as the residents of Kampong Setia.

He also added that they received donations in the form of cleaning equipment from a group of students Alumni of Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam Secondary School (SMJA).

In addition to the cleaning of cemetery, they also held a Tahlil and Doa Arwah prayers for late family members and relatives at the burial site. The session was led by Ustaz Haji Izzuddin bin Haji Lakat @ Haji Lakim.
