His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday sent a congratulatory message to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and members of the royal family, as well as the Government and people of Jordan, on the occasion of their Independence Day.

In the message to the Jordanian King, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction over the brotherly relations enjoyed by the two countries and looked forward to future opportunities to further deepen the close friendship and cooperation in the years ahead.

In ending the message, His Majesty conveyed his best wishes for a joyous celebration and prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless the Jordanian King and members of the royal family with good health and happiness, and for the Jordanian people to enjoy continued peace and prosperity.
