Sports School Defeated SMJA in Football Championship

Sports School emerged winners of the Zone 1 Secondary Schools, Colleges and Higher Learning Institutions Football Championship after defeating Jamalul Alam Secondary School (SMJA) 2-1 in the final at the Balapan Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex recently.

 

In the under-15 category, the best player was awarded to George Alvin anak Degat of the Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien College (SOASC) while Adiff Nazirul Muhayyat also from SOASC claimed the Top Scorer award.

 

Wafi Arci of Sports School won the Under-18 best player award while Faturrahman Embran of Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah collected the Top Scorer gong.

 

Meanwhile in the Zone 1 Secondary Schools and Colleges Badminton Championship, shuttler Syazwan Aswandy Asnawi claimed the singles title in the Under-15 category while Raiman Raihan took down the Under-18 title.

 

The pair of Masrur Fuad Asmat and Nazirul Hazwan Fazrie was crowned men's doubles winners.
