A total of about 30 Kindergarten 2 students from the Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (TASKA YSHHB) conducted a visit to Pastamania Tanjong Bunut yesterday to learn about healthy food and how it is prepared.

The students were accompanied by three teachers and one school helper, led by Cikgu Hajah Zainab binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Principal of TASKA YSHHB.

The visit is divided into nine days for a total of 215 Kindergarten 1 and 170 Kindergarten 2 students who will be visiting Pastamania according to their classes starting from May 23-26, and then on May 28-30 as well as June 1, 2 and 4.

The visit aims to give exposure to students on pizza-making; to use the learning-while-playing approach that has been applied in the TASKA YSHHB children's learning; to provide students with a new experience that is exciting with riding on a bus; to give students the opportunity to conduct hands-on activities; expanding the students' gross motor skills through pizza-making activities like kneading pizza dough; and to give an opportunity to students to interact and communicate with their friends through group activities.

The series of visits also aim to build confidence in students as well as to teach them shapes and symmetry as well as safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
