MUKAH

The experience gained by Datuk Hanifah Taib through her involvement in various non-governmental organisations (NGO) will auger well for her if she wins in the Mukah constituency in the coming general election (GE14), says Balingian state assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg announced that Hanifah is the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Mukah in GE14.

He believed that Hanifah has the influence and personal skills to win the election and that her experience with the local and international NGOs will help her in discharging her duties as a MP.

The Balingian assemblyman assured that voters in his constituency and that of Dalat and Telian the other two constituencies making up the Mukah parliamentary seat have also expressed their full support for Hanifah.

“We at the grassroots level are ready to work and ensure the BN will win the 14th General Election especially in Mukah,” he said.
