The British High Commission last night held a Reception ceremony in conjunction with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second's 92nd birthday.

Representing the Government of His Majesty was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. In his speech, His Excellency Richard Lindsay, the British High Commissioner to the country, highlighted the close ties between the United Kingdom and Brunei Darussalam. The reception was enlivened with a performance of creative arts between the two countries.
