Religious acts do not only pertain to solat or prayers, fasting, tithes and such, but it also covers all welfare practices and behaviour including maintaining and protecting the earth which will garner benefits on earth and the hereafter. The matter was among those highlighted during the Tazkirah Subuh or Dawn talk for the Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat programme, early yesterday morning at the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque.

Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Home Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Doctor Awang Haji Md Isham bin Jaafar, the Minister of Health; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, the Minister of Development and Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof, the Minister of Communications. The talk titled "Bumi Darussalam Tanggungjawab Kita" was delivered by Awang Abdul Mu'iid bin Hariel, Assistant career Guidance Officer, Continuing Education Division and IBTE Training, Ministry of Education.
