This kangaroo looks like he was caught red-handed taking a snooze after downing a beer.

But all is not as it seems.

Adam Bridges stumbled upon the roo lazing around as he stopped for a picnic with his family in Brisbane, Australia.

When the 42-year-old finished off a beer, he held onto the can for recycling, but a nearby kangaroo had other ideas.

Adam said the mischievous animal was fascinated by the can, so he decided to take some photos of the seemingly ‘drunk’ marsupial.

The improvised photoshoot appears to show the ‘before, during, and after’ snaps of a beer session, which Adam said ‘we can all relate to’.

He said: ‘It’s just so Australian. A kangaroo with a beer – what else could you want?

‘This one was just so relaxed and chilled out, which I think really made the photos.

‘It wasn’t until I looked back at the images later on that I realised how hilarious they really were.’

He added: ‘He looks absolutely hammered. I reckon he sneaked a few beers before we even got there.’
