BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

Among the largest benefit created and awarded by Allah Subhabnahu Wataala is water, which is the most valuable and truly needed life source as well as is the basis of life for every creature on earth. Humans, animals and plants are unable to live without water. Especially for humans, water is not only a basic requirement in daily life but it is also closely linked to religious matters such as ablution, prayers, reading Al-Quran and others. This was among the contents of today's Friday Sermon titled 'Jimatkan penggunaan Air' or 'Save Water'.

Brunei Darussalam is very fortunate as it has been rewarded with sufficient water source for the use of the people as well as for carrying out socio-economic activities such as livestock breeding, fisheries and industrial. The country's population is fortunate in being able to enjoy a clean supply of piped water to carry out daily and cleansing activities such as ablution. Avoid using water excessively and wasting it as it can cause a loss to oneself, the family as well as the country. As consumers, we must be sensitive and responsible and give our utmost cooperation in tackling the wastage of water either at home or outside such as leakage of pipes which must be reported immediately to the relevant agencies. Apart from that, as responsible consumers, we must give due attention by monitoring water usage through water bills and settle every claim within the period stipulated.
