As part of continuing efforts by government agencies to curb crimes and ensure the country's laws and regulations are obeyed and respected, the Temburong District Police last night conducted a road block at Kampung Ujung Jalan junction.

The operation was to monitor and ensure that motorists and other people entering and exiting the district did not bring contraband or items that could be used to commit crime. It was also to ensure that road users know their responsibility in maintaining safety and security on the roads, particularly during the school holidays.

The Temburong District Police also called on the public to secure their belongings as well as shutting and locking the doors and windows properly and switching on the lights before leaving the house. These measures should be taken to prevent crimes
