BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

The Youth Peer Programme aims to provide civic awareness and instil a spirit of nationhood to students. The programme, conducted by the Information Department, was held at the St. Margaret School in the Belait District.

 

Such a programme aimed to get closer to the youth at the school towards shaping a positive mind and moral. The programme involved some 161 students from Years 7, 9 and 10. Among those present was Awang Haji Kadri bin Mohammad Yusof, the Senior Education Officer of the Schools Department. Among the contents of the programme was a briefing entitled 'Our King, Appreciating the national flag and national anthem'. It was delivered by Pengiran Haji Ahmad Fadillah Akhbar bin Pengiran Haji Sellahhuddin, Head of the Belait District Information Branch.
