The National Disaster Management Centre, NDMC, this afternoon held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the 44th Birthday Celebration of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. His Royal Highness is the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Centre. The ceremony was held at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Mentiri.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of the Home Affairs. The highlights of the ceremony included mass Sunat Hajat prayer, reading of Surah Yassin and Tahlil, Dikir and Special Doa Kesyukuran.
