History Literate Mobile Exhibition

The Brunei History Centre continues its activity to disseminate the History Literate Mobile Exhibition to primary and secondary schools in the country. This morning, the exhibition was extended to the Tungku Primary School.
According to the Head of the Exhibition and Services Section of the History Centre, the mobile exhibition has been actively conducted at schools in the country for the past three years. Its implementation is in line with the centre's vision and mission to introduce the country's history to the people. Pengiran Hajah Mahani binti Pengiran haji Ahmad said the exhibition received good response from various parties. She added that the centre has diligently made efforts to introduce the nation's history to the people in the four districts.
Besides the exhibition, various activities have also been arranged such as a briefing on Brunei Darussalam's History, Jawi calligraphy demonstration, poster exhibition and History Centre publications sale. Dayangku Noorariza binti Pengiran Haji Momin, an Education Officer at the school expressed the hope that the exhibition can provide positive exposure to the public specifically the teachers and students. According to her, the exhibition's objective is to expose the pupils on ways of teaching and learning history.
