Annual Ministerial Level Haj Management Meeting

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Ministry of Haj and Umrah has organised the annual Ministerial Level Haj Management meeting for 1439 Hijrah in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. At the meeting, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs expressed his appreciation and congratulate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Haj and Umrah for the excellent management and cooperation given to the country's haj pilgrims throughout the previous haj seasons.
The Minister of Religious Affairs also welcomed the invitations and high commitment of the Ministry of Haj and Umrah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in organising a continuous meeting on the haj management affairs, to discuss on the importance of the welfare and well-being of the Brunei Darussalam's intending haj pilgrims for every haj season.
Meanwhile, Yang Berhormat Dr Mohammed Salih bin Tahir Bentin, Minister of Haj and Umrah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia complimented on the management by the Brunei Darussalam Haj Management Office on their efforts for managing last year's haj pilgrims until they able to perform haj smoothly and systematically.
Earlier the Minister of Religious Affairs held a courtesy visit to Yang Berhormat the Minister of Haj and Umrah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The visit among others aimed to strengthen the current relationships between the two countries, exchanging views and sharing experience on the matters on the mutual interest. Also participating in the annual meeting was His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Yusoff bin Haji Awang Ismail, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
