In Tutong District, the situation at several low-lying and rural areas affected by flash floods was reported to be under control. As part of flood monitoring measures, two incident control posts have been activated at the Lamunin Fire and Rescue Station and Kampung Tanjong Maya Community Hall.

The affected areas include Kampung Lubok Pulau, Kampung Tanjong Maya, Kampung Penapar, Jalan Sungai Damit Pemadang Ukong, Kampung Ukong, Kampung Layong, Kampung Rambai, Kampung Panchong, Kampung Kuala Ungar and Kampung Benutan. A temporary shelter has been opened at Kampung Tanjung Maya Mosque hall. Other places identified as temporary shelters are Tutong Town Community Hall at Kampung Serambangun, Kampung Layong Community Hall, Kampung Lamunin Community Centre and Kampung Tanjong Maya Cooperative Hall.

For the convenience of residents and students, shuttle transportation such as trucks and boats are also provided at several affected areas.  Affected residents are also advised to take precautionary and safety measures which include not swimming or bathing in the flooded areas. Meanwhile, road users are reminded to drive cautiously in flood affected areas during the uncertain weather conditions and to use alternative routes if necessary.
