Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through its Centre for Promotion of Knowledge and Languages (CPKL) recently held a certificate presentation ceremony for 147 students who have completed the intensive Arabic Language course for the 2016/2017 session. The pre-Arabic session ran for two months and ended on May 7.

The ceremony was held to convey appreciation to students who have completed the two-month programme. It also represented one of the initiatives conducted by the CPKL in improving language skills and learning, while also  inspiring students to become excellent in their studies.

Five students were awarded with the best student awards, who are - Dayang Fauziah Fakhrunnisa binti Haji Mujiburrahman, Awang Abdul Muhaimin bin Dr. Haji Serbini, Dayang Nur Farah Fazrina binti Haji Madon, Dayang Nur Husnina binti Haji Othman and Dayang Humaidatul Fikriyah binti Muhammad Zamri.

Present as the chief guest to hand over the certificates was the Rector of UNISSA, Dr. Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal.
