Religious School Session Begins​

Religious schools throughout the country also started their 2018 learning session today, registering thirty one thousand, seven hundred and thirty six (31,736) students in both the morning and afternoon sessions.

 

 

 

Brunei Muara District recorded twenty three thousand, four hundred and seven (21,407) students.  The RTB crew visited a religious school in the capital, witnessing many students being introduced to their classmates and teachers while others were busy collecting their textbooks.  This year, three thousand, eight hundred and nine (3,809) pupils will sit for their Religious Primary School Certificate Examinations.

 

 

 

3,471 religious school students in Tutong District also began their new school year today.  This year, 529 pupils in the district will take their Religious Primary School Certificate examinations.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Belait District registered four thousand, two hundred and one (4,201) students.  647 of them will sit for the Religious Primary School Certificate examinations this year.

 

 

 

657 students have been registered in Temburong District.  93 of them will sit for the Primary Religious School Certificate examinations this year.  The Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs plays the main role in guiding the young generation towards the lifelong practice of Islam and its teachings.
