The busy school season is synonymous with traffic congestion. The start of the school season also leads to an increase in the occurrence of traffic jams especially at areas near education institutions such as colleges and schools. The situation usually occurs at peak times as early as 6.30 in the morning when parents and guardians are sending their children to school, and happens again at noon and late in the afternoon.
The congestion normally happens when parents and guardians are off sending the children to school. Roads which are most busy and congested can usually be seen near a school's main road, which are made worse when some parents drop their children by the roadside. Police personnel however were on the site as to ensure the smooth-running of the traffic.
Parents and guardians are advised to take extra precautionary measures and always abide by the traffic rules and regulations to avoid any undesirable incidents.
