His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah emphasises MIB as the principle and value system of Brunei Darussalam and reminds that no one should disregard it or try to choose anything other than MIB. His Majesty add as Brunei citizens, such behaviour would be unpatriotic.

His Majesty delivered the titah during the Get-together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents of Brunei Darussalam in the United Kingdom and Eire. The Monarch also reaffirms the commitment of His Majesty's Government in giving top priority to education, including the prevision of scholarship schemes and education loan schemes.
