Luke Shaw wants £5m to leave Old Trafford; Juve eye Hector Bellerin

Luke Shaw's time at Manchester United appears to be coming to an end.

Shaw 'wants payoff to leave United'

As speculation that Manchester United will move for Tottenham defender Danny Rose has increased, so too has talk that Luke Shaw will soon leave Old Trafford.

But the Sun reports that Shaw "wants a £5 million payoff to go in January," with United "ready to cut their losses."

Shaw, the report says, "earns £130,000 a week under the terms of his contract" and has a number of clubs interested in signing him, either permanently or on loan, including Newcastle.

But the Sun adds that the left-back "knows he will not get the same wage packet elsewhere and wants a settlement."

United, who paid £30m to sign Shaw from Southampton, are reported to want £20m to let him go permanently.

But the paper quotes a source as saying the player "will not make it easy for the club to show him the door in January."

Juve mull move for Arsenal's Bellerin

Juventus are interested in Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin and could go for "a big-money deal" in the summer, the Sun, citing reports in Italy, says.

The Italian champions are set to release Stephan Lichtsteiner at the end of the season and are searching for players to fill the right-back role, with Bellerin top of their list.

However, Tuttosport says Juve recognise that a signing is likely to be "complicated" and have earmarked Paris Saint-Germain's Thomas Meunier and Atletico Madrid's Sime Vrsaljko as alternatives.

Meanwhile, it looks like bad news for Southampton, West Ham and Crystal Palace, all of whom are said to be interested in Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

The Mirror reports manager Arsene Wenger as saying he does not want to see Giroud -- who scored the Gunners' late leveller in their 1-1 draw at Southampton on Sunday -- leave in January.

Chelsea set to go for Gol in winter window

Chelsea have their eyes on CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, according to the Mail, and hope to wrap up a move in January.

The Blues want to do business in the winter because they fear becoming embroiled in a scramble for the Russia international's signature if he impresses at the World Cup.

The Mail reports that they could sign Golovin for around £15m now -- less than they would be likely to have to pay in the summer.

The player, who has Champions League experience, has also been linked with Arsenal, who could yet table a bid of their own.

Tap-ins

- Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng wants to wait until his side have climbed away from Premier League danger before thinking about a new contract, the Mail reports.

It says the South Korea international, out of contract in the summer, has decided to focus on the Swans' forthcoming matches rather than starting talks about renewing his deal.

- Torino remain interested in Stoke midfielder Giannelli Imbula but will need the cooperation of Toulouse if they are to sign him in January, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

Citing reports in Italy, the Sentinel says Torino want to strike a loan deal with a view to a permanent move, but Toulouse have Imbula on loan for the season and would need to agree to terminate the arrangement if that is to happen.

- Sky Sports Germany is reporting that Bayer Leverkusen keeper Bernd Leno is a target for Bayern Munich.

The 25-year-old shot-stopper is believed to have an exit clause built into his contract that will see him able to move to the Bundesliga giants in the summer for just €18m.
