The Indonesian Ombudsman has awarded the Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) a high compliance status for its services and innovation.

Ombudsman’s compliance assessment aims to remind the obligations of agencies to provide the best service. The results of the assessment are classified as red, yellow and green zones for low, medium and high compliance statuses, respectively.

The status was obtained after the body’s survey team took a sample of 1,790 services offered by the agency. “The agency has upped its standard from last year’s score, which was in the yellow zone,” Ombudsman deputy chairman Lely Soebekty said at Jakarta’s one-stop Public Service Mall in South Jakarta on Friday.

The PTSP’s score has increased from 61.2 in 2015, to 74.64 in 2016. This year, the agency managed to score 85.43, resulting in it becoming one of five agencies in Indonesia to achieve green zone, or high compliance status from the Ombudsman.

PTSP head Edy Junaedi said this achievement was the result of the commitment of the staff from all levels in the agency.

Edy said the agency wants to keep the status by making new innovations, including through online services, delivery service (AJIB), video call service through pelayanan.jakarta.go.id and hotline services, among others. (dis)
