Her Majesty Audience Ceremony


Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam received in audience heads of delegation attending the ASEAN Traditional Textiles Symposium 2017. Also present was Her Majesty's daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah. The audience ceremony took place yesterday afternoon at Istana Nurul Iman. During the audience head, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri first received in audience Kebawah Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Hajjah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Al-Marhum Almutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj, Head of Malaysian Delegation at the symposium.

Her Majesty also received in audience Mrs Atika Purnomowati, Chairperson of Traditional Textiles and Arts Society of Southeast Asia and wife of Vice Governor of Yogyakarta;

 

Doctor Mariah Woworuntu Sidiq; Secretary General of Traditional textiles and Art Society of Southeast Asia;

 

Mrs Maribel Ong, Chairperson of HABI, the Philippine Textile Council;

 

Mrs Jampee Thatamasiri, Master Weaver, Thailand;

 

Mrs Nang Lao Ngin, the Director of National Museum Yangon, Myanmar;

 

Doctor Linda Susan McIntosh, Heritage Interpretation Expert Laos;

 

Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngan, Director of Museum of the Cultures of Viet Nam's Ethnic Groups; AND

 

Doctor Siti Norkhalbi Haji Wahsalfelah, the Director of the Academy of Brunei Studies, UBD.

 

Also present were Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports AND Datin Doctor Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz, Vice-Chancellor of UBD as well as her acting assistant, Dayang Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Yakub.
