In enhancing awareness on the importance of retirement planning especially to TAP members who will be retiring in 10 years, the Employees Trust Fund (TAP), through its Retirement Planning Services Division continued the "10 years towards retirement" roadshow for the TAP members. The roadshow took place at the Ministry of Finance Building in Jalan Commonwealth Drive. The briefings covered the importance of retirement planning and financial planning.

Dayang Hajah Raeidyah binti Haji Bujang, Senior Retirement Advisor of TAP's Retirement Planning Services Division, explained the important aspects of early planning to better equip the members in preparing themselves towards their retirement days. She also shared the statistics of TAP member's withdrawal for the past three years which showed a positive impact for those who made the initiative to increase their savings through consistent voluntary contributions. The Second session on financial planning was delivered by Awang Haji Shamsul bin Haji Muhamad, a certified Financial Planner from the Financial Planning Association of Brunei Darussalam (FPAB), who elaborated and shared tips on financial planning for retirement.

TAP also provides booth for consultation session and services which enable members to obtain the current statement of their TAP and SCP savings. At the same time, they are also able to register as the e-Amanah online portal user to enable them to use TAP online services online at any time. TAP is also collaborated with AMBD's Credit Bureau and Financial Consumer Issues Unit specifically to provide credit report and awareness of the get-rich-quick schemes.
