NANNING CITY, PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

On April 28 2016, three members of the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) had attended a seminar on ‘Asean Economic and Trade Relations 2016’ in Nanning City, Guangxi Region of People’s Republic of China.

The three PPPMB members who had since completed the seminar were Pg Zamri Pg Hj Bujang, Md Ruzymaselysan @ Md Azim Seruji, and Dk Sarah Khairunnisa Pg Hj Abd Rahman. All three received their respective certificates upon completing the seminar that began from April 15 to 28. They were feted in a certificate presentation ceremony at Sanzan Hotel.

The seminar that took place at Nanning City was organized by China-Asean Expo Secretariat with a sponsorship from China’s Ministry of Commerce.

Meanwhile, on April 26 2016, the Federation had once again realized their objective when its member completed a course in People’s Republic of China.

Hj Md Sahrill Amali Hj Ibrahim had recently completed a course on New Technology of Tropical Agriculture for Developing Countries that commenced on April 6 this year. The course was organized by Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS) and was similarly sponsored by Ministry of Commerce.

The Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) actively encourages its members to pursue better education in the field of business. Hj Md Sharhill is among those who have joined the ranks of his fellow members for a series of seminars and courses in China. PPPMB is hoping that its members will be able to benefit the Sultanate through entrepreneurship as pointed out by its President, Dr Hj Abd Latif Chuchu who believed that business should be a first choice for all Bruneians. Upon returning to the Sultanate, the participants will utilise the skills and apply the knowledge gained from the seminar which is part of an effort by PPPMB to empower its members in the business arena through continuous, lifelong learning.
