Increase Awareness on the Importance of Savings

The community outreach activity organised by Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) with the cooperation of the Ministries of Education and Religious Affairs have been extended to Temburong District. The intention of the activity was to increase awareness on the importance of savings, financial self-reliance as well students' awareness on how to address financial issues.

10 primary schools in Temburong District were involved in interactive games and other activities which carried the theme, Introduction to currency and financial management. The activities took place at Belalong Hall, Bangar Town Civic Centre in Temburong. The activity gave information and introduced to students the 5th Series of Coins Circulated in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's Accession to The Throne.
