His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah states that legal action is the only way to stop misleading propaganda that threatens religious harmony in the country, saying a provision under a suitable Act should be formulated. This is the only way, adds His Majesty, to effectively curb the deviant opinion and practice that reject the Tahlil, dispute the Maulidur-Rasul, visiting the cemetery, reading Al-Quran before commencing daily work and other similar practices. 

His Majesty delivered the stern warning while officiating the Knowledge Convention 2017 at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre in Berakas this morning. Touching on the convention which carries the theme, 'Mensyukuri Kepimpinan, Terutama Perkhidmatan Ugama, Sepanjang 50 Tahun Pemerintahan Baginda', His Majesty says undoubtedly the convention will lead the effort to find the precise interpretation of who is the Monarch, what are his duties and roles as well the implications of the Monarch's actions.
