Two Indonesian women were sentenced to 4 months imprisonment for an offence under the Immigration Act.
40-year old, Ngatemi Sukad, was found guilty of overstaying in the country after her visit pass has expired for 538 days. Meanwhile, Siti Saropah Binti Samad Karto, aged 43, was found guilty for overstaying in the country after her visit pass has expired for 636 days. Both defendants were arrested during the Operasi Kekang, Immigration and National Registration Department, on the 1st of November, during an inspection at a rental house in Kampong Serasa.
