His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah also received in audience His Excellency Major General T.N.I. Madsuni, Commandant General of the Komando Special Forces Unit (KOPASSUS), Indonesia Armed Forces - Land Force (TNI-AD). The Audience ceremony took place at the Qashr Al-Meezaan.

Accompanying His Excellency Major General TNI Madsuni were Her Excellency Nurul Qomar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam and Colonel INF Lucky Avianto, Assistant Operation Commandant General, Indonesia Armed Forces - Land Force. During the audience ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince consented to exchange of gifts with His Excellency Major General T.N.I. Madsuni.

Also present were First Admiral (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, the Deputy Minister of Defence; Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; and Retired Captain Dato Paduka Abd Rahman bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, Royal Brunei Navy, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence. In 2014, His Royal Highness Prince received a Red Beret from the KOPASSUS.
